Features

The PAS65823 Pluggable GPON ONT development kit includes a complete hardware, software and mechanical design for a fully functional GPON ONT that connects to a host system via an SFP interface. The ONT plugs in to a host system with an SFP receptacle port and is powered by the host system through the SFP interface. It adds GPON connectivity to new or existing residential and SMB routers, gateways, and IADs that have an SFP port.

The reference design features a complete ONT software package that includes PMC's OMCI stack, which is interoperable with all major OLT systems. The ONT software also includes provisioning for management and control of the ONT from the host, using a simple management protocol.


The Pluggable ONT development kit is built around the PAS7400 GPON ONT SoC.
